    Conall McDevitt certainly deserves some sort of prize for self-promotion but he needs to watch his back in the hate-filled SDLP suburbs of south Belfast.

    If Alasdair McDonnell fails to win the party leadership he will look like a beaten docket which won’t do his Westminster re-election prospects any good.

    Maybe Conall will assist Alasdair, or is he a Margaret man?
